HANSON, NESSETT

Funeral rites will be Friday at Six Mile Six Mile Grove church for Eddie Hanson, 71, Adams, Minnesota, who died Monday at the Mercy hospital, Mason City, Iowa; had suffered a paralytic attack in May; was cared for at the home of his son, Morris, at Mason City, then was hospitalized; body is at the Champion Funeral home here.

Born May 2, 1882, to Martin and Bertha Hanson, near Otranto, in Mitchell county; there he spent his boyhood and married Anna Nessett of Otranto, September 17, 1903; established home at farm north of St. Ansgar, then at Mona, then Murdock, Minn., and Rose Creek, Minnesota; sold farm there to go to Adams, Minnesota, where he had since lived.

His wife died in 1950 and he leaves one son, Morris, Mason City; two daughters, Mrs. Otto Tischer, of Austin, Minnesota, and Mrs. Vernon Anderson, Adams, Minnesota; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two brothers, magnus, Lyle, Minnesota, and Carl, Austin, Minnesota, and a sister, Mrs. Chris Olson of Austin, Minnesota.

Also preceding him in death were two brothers, John and Norris, and a sister, Bertha.

NOTE: Anna (or Annie) Nessett was the daughter of Martin Johnson Nessett and Bertha Gunderson.
Anna was born on March 6, 1882 in Mitchell county, Iowa.
