Hirrell L. Dalluge Funeral Held At Immanuel Lutheran
Funeral services for Hirrell L. Dalluge, 70, who died June 14, 1975, were held June 17 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Reverend Norman Betke officiating.
Hirrell Louis Dalluge was born February 11, 1905 in Grafton, the son of Carl William and Minna (Haase) Dalluge. He was baptized March 19, 1905 by the Reverend John Landeck. He was confirmed by the Reverend Carl Landeck at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton April 13, 1919. He lived in Grafton with his parents until 1923 when the Dalluges moved to St. Ansgar where his father was in business. The Dalluges became members of Immanuel Lutheran Church here at that time.
Mr. Dalluge was married to Lila Fleischer August 3, 1930 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Reverend Paul Brammer officiating. One son, Carl was born to them. He died in 1966.
Mr. Dalluge succeeded his father in business here in 1934, and was a businessman in this community for 27 years. On April 18, 1972 he underwent open-heart surgery, and retired from business due to health reasons.
He is survived by his wife, Lila; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Phyllis Dalluge and three grandchildren, Kenneth, Richard, and Cynthia; a sister, Violet Sinn of Mason City; and nieces and nephews.
Burial was in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery with Reverend Betke in charge of the committal services.
