Funeral Services For Lila Dalluge Held at Immanuel Lutheran Church
Funeral services for Mrs. Hirrell (Lila Ida Amanda Fleischer) Dalluge, 77 of Austin, Minnesota, and former St. Ansgar Resident, who died at University Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Monday, May 18, (1987) were held Friday, May 22 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar with the Reverend N. E. Betke officiating.
Mrs. Dalluge was born October 15, 1910 at Glenville, Minnesota, the daughter of Paul and Martha (Behl) Fleischer. She was baptized into the Christian faith November 6, 1910 by the Reverend Vosselor at Myrtle, Minnesota. She was confirmed March 26, 1926 at Waverly, instructed by the Reverend E. M. Rousch.
On August 3, 1930 she married Hirrell Dalluge at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with the Reverend Paul Brammer officiating.
The Dalluges were engaged in the retail food business, having grocery stores in various southern Minnesota and Iowa communities and running the meat market and grocery store in St. Ansgar for many years. Two years after her husband’s death, she moved to Brooklyn Park, Minnesota living with her sister, Hertha Fleischer for four years. She returned to St. Ansgar in 1982 enjoying her home and glowers.
Mrs. Dalluge became ill a year ago and lived with her sister, Hertha in Austin, Minnesota the past months taking therapy and treatment.
Surviving ar a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Dalluge of Lansing, Minnesota, three grandchildren; one sister, Hertha Fleischer of Austin, Minnesota; two brothers, Alfred Fleischer of St. Cloud, Minnesota and Leonard Fleischer of Burk Burnette, Texas; nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Hirrell; a son, Carl; one sister, Adela; and one brother, Maynard.
Burial was in the Immanuel Cemetery.
