ASK, ROSSUM, BENTESTUEN, SEEBER

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Ask, 95, formerly of Osage, were held September 4 at the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar. Mrs. Ask died September 1, 1979 at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar, where she had resided since 1969.

The Rev. Stephen Engelstad, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Bertha Marie Rossum was born September 19, 1883, in Mitchell county, the daughter of Torger and Martha Bentestuen Rossum.

Wilhelm Berhardt Ask and Bertha Rossum were married November 29, 1904. They established their home west of Osage, where they farmed until retiring to Osage in 1943. She was a member of the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter, all of Osage, Truman, Manville, and Mrs. Myrtle Seeber; eight grandchildren, also 15 great grandchidren and three step great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
