With the passing of Mrs. Nathan N. Patterson, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Levi Gifford, two miles east of St. Ansgar, a pioneer resident of Mitchell County has gone to her reward.

Wednesday afternoon, December 26th, she fell into a dreamless sleep, calmly and peacefully fading away into eternity. She was ill but a short time. A patient sufferer, she was ready to serv all earthly ties at the will of the Omnipotent One.

To mourn her loss she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Levi Gifford of St. Ansgar, and Mrs. Warren Wing of Minneapolis, two sons, Isaac Patterson of Rochester, Minnesota, and Thos. Patterson of Burbank, Colorado, one sister, Mrs. J.E.H. Long of Philadelphia, two brothers, Frank G. Atherton of Clear lake and Thos. M. Atherton of Osage.

** Apparently the obituary was in error, as her name is really Lillian. Elizabeth is the name of her daughter, Mr. Levi Gifford.
