Kenneth Warrington
Funeral Services for Kenneth Warrington, 68, retired St. Ansgar farmer, who died at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital May 21, were held May 23 at Immanuel Lutheran Church here with the Rev. Norman Betke officiating.
Kenneth Warrington was born near St. Ansgar July 19, 1916, the son of Laverne and Mabel (Basford) Warrington. He attended Union Township country school and Osage High School. March 9, 1937 he married Virginia Benson in rural Osage. Mr. Warrington had farmed for 37 years until retiring to St. Ansgar in 1974.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by one son, Larry; by one daughter, Karen, and by one sister, Marilyn Erbe.
Mr. Warrington is survived by his wife, Virginia; one son, Robert, rural St. Ansgar; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Joe (Margaret) Eberling of Mason City; three brothers, Gerald of Charles City, Clifford of Ashville, North Carolina, and Orville of Cinncinnati, Ohio.
Burial was in Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, rural Osage, with Rev. Betke in charge of committal service.
