Funeral services for Robert Arthur Warrington, 44, of St. Ansgar, who died Thursday, February 25 at his home in Mona, were held Saturday, February 27 at the St. Ansgar Catholic Church with the Father Joseph Heinemann officiating.
Mr. Warrington was born December 11, 1943 at Osage, the son of Kenneth and Virginia (Benson) Warrington. He was graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1962. He married Lorraine Freund, in Meyer, on November 4, 1967.
Mr Warrington worked as a carpenter until his illness in 1974, when he received a kidney from his brother, Larry, in a transplant operation. He then pursued hobbies of woodworking, reading and leatherwork and being a friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his father, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine of St. Ansgar; two sons, Robert Jr. of Fort Stewart, Georgia, and John of St. Ansgar’ his mother, Virginia Warrington of St. Ansgar; nieces and nephews.
Burial was in St. Ansgar Cemetery.
