ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — Jack Lee Koster, age 70, of St. Ansgar, died on Saturday, January 3, 1998, at the Adams Health Care Center in Adams, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ted Stowers officiating. Interment will be in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.
There will be no visitation. Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home in St. Ansgar, is in charge of arrangements.
Jack Lee Koster was born June 18, 1927, in Coatesville, Indiana.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Koster, of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Jon Koster, of Austin, Minnesota; four grandchildren; two brothers, George Koster Jr., Silverton, Colorado, and Gary Koster, Worthington, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one infant son and one brother.

Jack graduated in the class of 1945, at St. Ansgar. Jack married Shirley Mouw at Hannibal, Missouri on October 17, 1952. See obituary for Shirley Koster.
