Roy Lou Platt, 71, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Friday, Apr. 27, 2007 at his home. Funeral services were held on Monday, April 30, 2007, at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan, Illinois. Burial, with graveside services, was held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at the Orchard Cemetery, Orchard, Iowa.
Roy was born June 21, 1935 in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Roy L. and Elsie M. (Harland) Platt.
He married Lois Wendall. Roy later married Karen (Hackbart) Angus, on July 14, 1990. Survivors include his wife, Karen; and two daughters and their families.
