Olga Marie Anderson, age 93, of Orchard, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage, Iowa. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2007, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage with Rev. Bruce Kaltwasser officiating. Burial was in Osage Cemetery.

She was born May 8, 1913 at the family home in rural Charles City, the daughter of E. A. and Martha (Eske) Schallock. Olga was baptized in the Lutheran Faith and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Rock Township. Olga attended school at the Rock Township No. 5.

She was united in marriage to Joseph Anderson on May 7, 1939 at St. Ansgar Immanuel Lutheran Church. They made their home at Riceville where they farmed. All their married life they lived in Mitchell County and had lived in Orchard for the last 28 years. Olga moved to Faith Lutheran Home in September of 2006. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, enjoyed doing crafts, sewing and baking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and a grandson.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon Rawn of Osage; son Merle and his wife Ann Anderson of Larwill, Indiana; brother Lloyd and his wife Phyllis Schallock of New Haven; 2 sisters-in-law, Eleanor Schallock of Osage and Mary Schallock of Osage; 1 Brother-in-law, Gilbert Anderson of Omaha, Neb.; six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
