Funeral Services for Mrs. Josie Walling Monday

Mrs. Josie Walling passed away at her home in the south part of the city last Saturday morning at the age of 62 years. (January 9, 1926) She had been in poor health for a number of years prior to her death and was patient in her suffering to the end. She leaves to morn her death two sons and one daughter, Mrs. E.[rnest J.] Johnson of Omaha and C.[lay] W. Walling also of the city and F[enno]. B. Walling of Fort Dodge.

Funeral services were held from the South Side Mission Monday afternoon, the pastor John Knickman officiating and burial was made in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Josephine Farlee was born April 13, 1863 in Lucas county and on March 4, 1882 she was married to Thorne W. Walling of Hillsdale. They located in Glenwood which has been their home for the past forty years. Mr. Walling proceeded her in death by a number of years.

She was a member of the Holiness church and lived a constant Christian life bring a woman who bore the trials of life in a manner which won admiration from all who knew her.
