Mrs. Emma J. Holyoke Passed Away in Lincoln. Mr. & Mrs. S. C. Lincoln and Son Wayne Attending State Farm Bureau Meeting.
Pacific Junction, Iowa. January 23, Special Correspondence — Mrs. Ed Mendenhall received word Tuesday of the death of Mrs. Emma J. Holyoke who passed away Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter F. Wilson, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mrs. Holyoke was the wife of Dr. Holyoke who resided here forty years ago. She was born in Centerville, Iowa, and attended Grinnell college. While at Grinnell she studied voice under Willard Kimball, who later founded the Nebraska Conservatory of Music. For a number of years she was sorority house mother for the Delta Gamma and Alpha Delta Theta sororities.
