October 12, 1950Albert McCluskey, County Pioneer Died Wednesday
Albert M. McCluskey, 80, passed away early Wednesday morning October 11, 1950, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Reben Stille of Glenwood, where he had made his home the past several years.
Mr. McCluskey was one of the early pioneers of the community, having lived in and around Glenwood since 1878, a span of 72 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Reuben Stille, of this city, a sister, Mrs. Lucy Jacobs, of Omaha, Nebr. 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at the Baptist Church in Glenwood Friday, October 13 at 2:00 p.m.
Rev. Walter Seick, of North English, Iowa, who is the husband of one of Mr. McCluskey's grand-daughters, will officiate at the services; assisted by Rev. W.E. Prewitt and Rev. J.W. Taenzler.James-Reid Funeral Home will be in charge of services.
Burial will be made at the Glenwood Cemetery
