David W. Lundy, 48, Glenwood

David Wayne Lundy, 48, of Glenwood, died Dec. 20, 2005, in Omaha. Graveside services were held Dec. 23, 2005, in Omaha. Graveside services were held Dec. 23, 2005, at Martin Chapel Cemetery in Pacific Junction. Pastor Mike Stevens officiated the service.

Mr. Lundy was born on July 17, 1957, in Oakland, Calif., to Polsinia (Garcia) and William Lundy, Sr. He was employed in the construction business in Omaha. He was a volunteer fire-fighter for the Pacific Junction Fire Department from 1980-1986. He had a softball career sponsored by Budweiser and was on several bowling teams that were also sponsored by Budweiser. He was employed with Glenwood Resource Center for 21 years and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his parents Bill and Polsinia "Peggy" Lundy of Kissimmee, Fla.; children, Amber Lundy of Glenwood; Joe Lundy of Omaha; Austin Lundy of Glenwood; five grandchildren; brother, William Lundy, Jr. of Pacific Junction; sisters, Debbie Lundy of Glenwood; Lorrie Hansen of Kissimmee, Fla.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of friends.

Memorials may be made to the family. Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood was in charge of arrangements.
