Thomas C. Becker, 58, Glenwood

Thomas Carl Becker, 58, of Glenwood, died Dec. 25, 2005, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at 10 a.m. at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. Randy Berry will officiate the service. Burial will be in the West Liberty Cemetery in Glenwood.

Mr. Becker was born Sept. 13, 1947, in Winona, Minn. to Ernest Frank and Betty Mae (Yackel) Becker. He faithfully served his country during Vietnam.

Mr. Becker was united in marriage to Cynthia L. Evans on October 10, 1970 in Glenwood. The couple had two sons, Timothy and Thomas.

The family resided in rural Glenwood where Mr. Becker thoroughly enjoyed growing large vegetable gardens and hunting. He also loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Glenwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Cheryl. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cindy Becker of Glenwood; sons, Timothy and wife Elizabeth Becker of Phoenix, Ariz.; Dr. Thomas and wife Dr. Pam Becker of Rolla, Mo.; brother, Bill and wife Pat Becker of Jasper, Ind.; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
