December 2, 1940Sarah Utterback Williams, Tabor Pioneer Passes
Miss Fern Williams of Tabor, last week received the notice of the death and funeral of her aged aunt, Mrs. Sarah Williams, 94, at her home in Castana. Mrs. Williams died Sunday, November 24, and the funeral was held on Monday.
Mrs. Williams was the wife of James Williams whose parents were Mr. and Mrs. Amos Williams who came to the Tabor community in 1851 and is the last one of that generation of the family. Mrs. Williams’ maiden name was Sarah Utterback.
