Mrs. Mary Pein Nissen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pein, was born on the farm home west of Glenwood July 17, 1900, and passed away at her home in Wayne, Neb., January 6, 1941. She grew to young womanhood in this community and on February 15, 1922 was united in marriage to Ben Nissen of Wayne, Neb.

She is survived by her husband, five children, Mary Ellen 17, Betty Lou 15, Bonnie Lee 13, James Frederick 10, and Evelyn Elain 6, and her father who resides in Denver; two brothers and two sisters, Walter Pein of Irwin, Idaho, Edward Pein of Pacific Junction, Mrs. Theo. D. Sieck of Hastings, and Mrs. R.J. Davison of Denver, Col.

Funeral services were held in Wayne, Neb., last Thursday afternoon, January 9. The service was conducted by Rev. J.F. Stille of Council Bluffs, a long time family friend, assisted by her nephew, Rev. Walter Sieck of Hastings and Rev. Eads of Wayne, Neb.
