Death of L. Clark

Mr. L. Clark one of Mills county's most respected and beloved citizens passed away at his home southwest of town Tuesday forenoon after a severe illness of some days of acute heart trouble. Mr. Clark has been in poor health for a long time past, but has been able to be around and to come into town and visit with friends until within the past week. His death is a great shock to the community at large by whom Mr. Clark has been so well known for a long time past.

The funeral is being held at the Presbyterian church this afternoon. Obituary will appear in next week's paper.
