Widow of Dr. Scott Dies in Philadelphia

Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday for Mrs. J.R. Scott, 80, formerly of Malvern, widow of the late Dr. J.R. Scott, prominent Mills County pioneer doctor. Mrs. Scott died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Allen Chantry in Philadelphia, Pa.

Surviving are a son, Walter, of Pittsburg; a daughter, Edna, wife of Rear Admiral Allan Chantry of Philadelphia, a granddaughter, Caroline Chantry of Philadelphia.

Burial was made in the Malvern cemetery.
