Charles Snuffin of Glenwood has received word of the death of his sister Mrs. Esther A. Bennet at Denver. She was an old time pioneer of Glenwood, the widow of Elisha Bennett. The latter's brother Hiram P. Bennet was the first county judge of Mills County, and afterwards became well known in the pioneer political life of Nebraska and Colorado.
