Irene Belle Schlapia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P.E. Schlapia, died of pneumonia Tuesday, March 25, at the home of her grandmother Mrs. Kennedy. Irene Belle was born in Hastings, Iowa, July 6, 1906, and had spent her short life in this community. She was a child loved by all her acquaintances and her demise takes from our community a bright little child. The funeral was held last Thursday and internment made in the cemetery near here.
