Mrs. L.C. Hill died last Friday at the home of C.A Silvers in Glenwood, aged 75 years. The funeral was held on Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Stephenson of the Methodist church, and the body was buried in the west Liberty cemetery.
Mrs. Hill and her family came here from Missouri 36 years ago and lived north of Glenwood. Mr. Hill died a few years later, but she continued to make this her home, the past four years, during most of which she has been an invalid.
Her daughter, Alma Wright was here from Omaha, and her daughter Laura from Norfolk, Nebr. She also has two daughters in Washington- Mrs. Anna Barbee at Killah, and Maud Knapp at Seattle. These and her friends appreciate the kindness and sympathy extended during her period of sickness and death- Glenwood Tribune.
