Mrs. Mary Gilman

Mrs. Mary Gilman, mother of Charles Carey, passed away at Sioux City, Friday, March 10th after a long illness.
Funeral services were held at Sioux City on Sunday, and the body taken to Chicago for burial. Mr. and Mrs. Carey were at her bedside when she passed away. As is known, Mrs. Carey has been with her mother much of the time of her last sickness.
Mrs. Gilman left considerable property in Chicago, the management of which will now devolve upon Mr. and Mrs. Carey.
This situation will likely make it needful for the Careys to move to Chicago to make their future home.
Mrs. Carey is survived by one sister, living in Sioux City, a daughter, Mrs. Carey, and three grandchildren. She was about 72 years of age and had been seriously sick the past six months.
Mr. and Mrs. Carey of Red Oak attended the funeral at Sioux City.
