Page 5John Freeman, who was sent up to jail from Lyons Township about two weeks ago on a charge of "assault with intent to kill", died Saturday night. The trouble is reported to have been typhoid fever. He was removed from the ill vented, bad smelling jail to better quarters a few days before his death. He leaves a wife and children.
