Ronald James Meyers, 42, of Glenwood died Feb. 14, 2005, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Neb. Funeral services were held Feb. 18 at the Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. Rev.Doug Achterhof officiated the services. Burial was at the Glenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Meyers was the son of Lawrence Raymond and Dorothy Lavonne (Herron) Meyers, born March 11, 1962, in Brush, Colo. He was raised in Glenwood and graduated from Glenwood High School in 1980. He was united in marriage to Crystal Lynn Delanty-Palmer on Oct. 14, l988, in Council Bluffs. He Was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was a process manager with Bunge North America. He loved his pond and gardening and was an avid Oklahoma Sooners football fan.

Mr. Meyers was preceded in death by his mother and brother Randy. He is survived by wife Crystal Meyers of Glenwood; children Shane Palmer of Glenwood, Chris Palmer of Malvern and Regina Meyers and Sarah Meyers, both of Pacific Junction; father Lawrence (Bud) Meyers of Glenwood; brothers Larry Meyers and wife Laurie of St. Peters, Mo.. Merle “Marty” Meyers and wife Debbie of Bennett, Colo., and Roger Meyers and wife Linda of Glenwood; sister Tammy Gaines and husband Dwight of Johnston; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephew and a host of friends;

A memorial fund has been established. Peterson Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
