2-9-05Gloria Emelda Fader, 69, of Glenwood, died Feb. 7, 2005, at her home. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Feb. 10, 2 p.m.. at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Glenwood. Father Donald Bruck will officiate the mass. Burial will take place at the Glenwood Resource Center Cemetery.
Ms. Fader was the daughter of Marion Boucher and Harold Fader, born April 13, 1935, in Sioux City. She grew up in Sioux City, where she attended school. She was 8 years old in January 1943 when she was placed at the Glenwood State Hospital- School in Glenwood. She lived on the campus of the school until moving to Clarinda on Aug. 8, 1951. She also lived in Cherokee and then returned to the Glenwood Resource Center on July 7, 1999. She enjoyed collecting dolls and angels. In February 2001, she moved from the resource center to her home in Glenwood.
Ms. Fader was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by many friends.
Hertz Funeral Home in Glenwood was in charge of arrangements.
