Terry Eli Biggerstaff, 46, of rural Hastings, died Jan. 9, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha, Neb. after suffering a cerebral aneurysm at his home on Jan. 8. Funeral services were held Jan. 14 at the Mansfield-Hertz Funeral Home in Malvern. Interment was at the Malvern Cemetery.

Mr. Biggerstaff was the son of Jerry Lee and Carolyn Rose (Judah) Biggerstaff, born April 14, 1958, in Red Oak. The family lived in Malvern until the parents' divorce. He then lived at his mother's parents' home south of Hastings with his mother. He attended Nishna Valley School until he was 12 years old. His mother remarried and moved to Pacific Junction, where he attended school in Glenwood. He married Alice Pakos in Pacific Junction on April 23, 1976. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters. The family also lived in Malvern and Georgia. They later divorced. Mr. Biggerstaff later married Penny Coffelt of Plattsmouth, Neb. in 1981. Their marriage was blessed with three children. The family lived in Plattsmouth and Arizona. They later divorced. Mr. Biggerstaff was a self-employed carpenter who love to hang out with his many friends and play cards. He enjoyed music and had a special talent for playing the guitar.

Mr. Biggerstaff was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Fisher of Hastings; fiance Becka Fyar of Hastings; children Regina Meyers and Sarah Meyers, both of Pacific Junction. Carina McRoberts and husband Jesse of Cook, Neb., Christa Trew and husband Terry of Talmage, Neblk and Terry Biggerstaff Jr. of Tampa, Fla; five grandchildren; half brothers and sisters, Mike Biggerstaff, Brian Biggerstaff, Julie Biggerstaff, Rodney Biggerstaff, Sandra Plyler, Clyde Fisher, Scott Fisher, Randy Fisher, Andrew Fisher and Trent Fisher and other relatives and friends.

Mansfield-Hertz Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
