Harvey W. Summers, one of the early settlers of Mills county, died at his home south of Malvern Wednesday evening, of pneumonia, aged 78. He has been ill only a week. He leaves a wife, two sons-W.L. and E.L. Summers, and one daughter Mrs. Walter Larison. Mr. Summers was widely known and highly respected. His death will be much felt in the community where he has so long lived. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 o’clock at the home.
