Irma Hayes, 88, Malvern
Irma Boehme Hayes, 88, of Malvern, formerly of Silver City, died July 2, 2001 at the Manor of Malvern. Funeral services were July 6, 2001 at Peterson Mortuary with burial in the Silver City Cemetery. Rev. Richard T. Wheatley officiated the services.

Mrs. Hayes was the daughter of Albert and Alma (Loeschen) Boehme, born November 8, 1912 in Glidden. She was married to Hugh J. Hayes in September, 1927 in Council Bluffs. She lived in Silver City most of her life and was a homemaker (farm wife). She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mineola.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband in 1970.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne and husband Richard Leet of Glenwood; sister, Bonita McCampbell of North Platte, Neb.; brother, Melvin Boehme of Council Bluffs; grandson, Rick and wife Terry Leet of Silver City; great-grandchildren, Matthew Leet of Silver City, Nathan and wife Jaime Leet of Omaha, Neb., Jackie and husband Davy Baker of Malvern; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Memorials are suggested to the St. John Lutheran Church in Mineola or the Manor of Malvern.
