Ann M. (Mrs. Frank) Dashner, 94, of Glenwood died July 2,2001 at Tabor Manor. Private graveside services were July 5,2001 in the Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Paul Monahan officiating.

Mrs. Dashner was the daughter of Alois and Maria (LoPaur) Smetana, born April 17, 1909 in Plattsmouth, Neb. She was married to Charles (Frank) Dashner on December 11, 1929 in Sedalia, Mo. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1961; two sisters; three brothers; and grandson, Matt Mead.

Survivors include her daughter, Marilee and husband Ken Mead of Glenwood; son, Charles Frank and wife Judy Dashner of Merritt Island, Fla.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and sisters, Helen Smetana of Lincoln, Neb., and Elinore Christensen of Mason City.

Memorials are suggested to the Glenwood Lake Park in lieu of flowers. Peterson Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
