Lorraine Leick, 80, of Glenwood, died Oct. 2, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6, 10 a.m., at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Glenwood. Rev. Fred Reischl will officiate the services.

Burial will be at the Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Leick was the daughter of Ferdinand and Laura (Bichel) Jurgens, born July 14, 1924, in Mills County. She was united in marriage to Lawrence B. Leick on Feb. 1O, 1945, in Glenwood. To this union three children were born. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Blue Bird Club.

Mrs. Leick was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Kevin and brother Gerald Jurgens. She is survived by children Dennis Leick of Glenwood and Mardell Hockabout of Glenwood; grandchildren Tracey Genetili and husband Steve of Minnesota and Brad Hockabout and wife Vicki; two great- grandchildren; sisters Fern Rohrberg, Norma Sperry and Lois Benedict, all of Glenwood; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

A memorial fund has been established. Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood was in charge of arrangements.
