Gerald A. Buffington, 93, died October 18, 1994 at Glen Haven Home in Glenwood. Funeral services were Saturday at Peterson Mortuary. Interment at Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Richard Dunn officiating.
Mr. Buffington was born March 31, 1901 in Mills County to Marion A. and Minnie R. Hunter Buffington. He was a lifelong resident of Mills County where he farmed and was an employee of the railroad. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees. He married Mildred C. Rounds on November 8, 1924 in Glenwood.

He was preceded death by his wife; his parents; (his mother died after his death); four step sisters and one step brother. Survivors are his daughter, Betty J. Knight of Malvern; three step sisters, Elsie Springer of Visalis, California, Marjorie Skaggs of Pleasanton, California, and Leota Eastman of Stockton, California; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial are suggested to Glen Haven Home or charity of choice.
