Funeral services for Mildred Charlotte Buffington, 91, of Glenwood were held November 3 at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. The Rev. Max I. Hall officiated with burial in Glenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Buffington passed away October 30, 1990 in Glenwood.
She was born September 11, 1899, in Hancock, the daughter of John Sr. and Ida Rounds. She married Gerald Huffington on November 8, 1924 in Glenwood.
Mildred was a former supervisor at Glenwood State Hospital School and later participated in the Foster Grandparent Program.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband Gerald of Glenwood; a daughter, Betty Knight of Malvern; four brothers, Kenneth Rounds of Storm Lake, LaVerne Rounds of Vero Beach, Florida, Robert Rounds of Reno, Nevada, and Ted Rounds of Spokane, Washington, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Ardis Dusenberry was the organist at the funeral service. Pall bearers were dick LaRue, Larry Garrett, Dennis Techau, Joe Wearing, Dwight Keith, and Gary Perkins.
Memorials are suggested to Glen Haven Home.
