Frances E. Lohr, 74, Grinnell
Frances E. Lohr, 74, of the Mayflower Home in Grinnell, died September 11, 2002, at the Mayflower Home Health Center. Graveside services were held September 16, 2002, at the Glenwood Cemetery. Rev. Victor Engelmann officiated at the service.

Mrs. Lohr was the daughter of Fred James and Mary E. (Swinehart) Bard, born March 2, 1928, in Union, Pennsylvania. She was married to Francis Lohr in 1948. She was a housekeeper in Pennsylvania and Glenwood and a member of the UCC Congregational Church in Grinnell and the TOPS Club.

Mrs. Lohr was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Francis; infant daughter; and brother James Bard. She is survived by her brother, William Bard of Oxford, Pennsylvania; sister Mary Bard; and special friend and guardian Dr. Ruth Webb of Grinnell.

A memorial fund has been established. Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood was in charge of arrangements.
