Mrs. Amanda Lang, residing with uncle Eli Judah southeast of Hastings, passed away Wednesday night following a brief sickness of pneumonia which was the aftermath of measles.

Funeral services were held in the home and burial in Emerson cemetery. She leaves two children of her own family, a son Floyd and a daughter Faye. More particulars of her life in a later paper.
