Joseph T Farmer (sic), a veteran of the Civil war, died at his home in the south part of town Nov. 16. He was born in Ireland 77 years ago, and came here in 1903 from Decatur county, where he had passed most of his life.

The funeral services were held Friday at the Methodist church.

NOTE: This obituary is for Joseph T. Parmer, not Farmer, his name was incorrectly spelled in the printing.
