Mrs. H.A. Norton died at her home in Malvern Sunday evening after a week’s illness with heart disease. The deceased was born in Wood County, Ohio in 1833 and moved to Mills County in 1857. She was a sister of Judge L.W. Tubbs of Emerson. In losing Mrs. Norton the community loses one of its noblest women and especially will the people of Malvern and vicinity sustain an irreparable loss as she was associated with them. The funeral services were held at 2 o’clock, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. W.J. Watson being the officiating clergyman.
