Abram Thomas one of the pioneers of Hillsdale, died Tuesday Sep 16. He was 82 years of age and lived here since the sixties. He was in the grocery business for a long time.

Mr. Thomas settled in Cass County in at an early day. His first wife dying he married Mrs. Frances Neely who survives him. The children surviving are; Sam Marlon Thomas, M. L. Renz, James, Joseph, Will and a step-daughter Mrs. Susanna Davis.

The remains were taken to Plattsmouth for interment, where his son Doctor James Thomas is practicing.
