Malvern Leader

Death Of Baby Jones - - James Edward, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Jones, passed away Saturday, February 25, after a brief illness of pneumonia. He had never been a very strong baby and when this illness attacked him he was unable to rally.

Funeral services were held from the home Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. A.J. Matthews, pastor of the Methodist Church, and interment was made in the Malvern cemetery. A special choir, R.W. Criswell and Baton Tennant and Mesdames F.R. Chantry and L.D. Austen sang. The remains were borne to their last resting place by the two older brothers, Bernis and Lawrence and the two sisters Flossie and Maud.

The Malvern Fire Department of which Mr. Jones is a charter member attended in a body. James Edward was born July 26, 1920, so was about one year and 7 months old. Our deepest sympathy is extended.
