OBITUARY HARRY W JONES - - Harry Walter Jones was born in Clark county, Iowa, August 22, 1875 and with his parents came to Mills county in 1884 where he has resided since.

On February 24, 1898 he was married to Grace M Hillyer, who passed away at their home near Strahan July 27, 1913.

He had been in poor health for several months but was feeling better and three weeks ago, went for a visit with his brother, D.S. Jones at Kirley, South Dakota, where he passed away on on the morning of Jan. 5, 1914. He was at the time of his death a member of the Latter Day Saints church. He leaves to mourn his loss W.S. Jones of Glenwood, J.H. Jones of Bartlett, Nebr., D.S. Jones of Kirley, S.D., Mrs. C.R. Hillyer of Ogallala, Nebr., Mrs. Frank Sell of Red Oak and James and Nellie of Strahan, all of whom were present at the funeral.

The funeral was held at the Strahan church where his many friends gathered to pay their last respects. He was laid at rest in the Malvern cemetery.
