Rev. A. T. Wood, for almost a half century an intimate and valued friend of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Hunter died very suddenly Sunday morning at the home of his son, H. N, Wood, 1043 Park Avenue, Omaha. About ten days prior to his death he was taken with a heavy cold, which came near resulting in pneumonia, but on Sunday morning he was able to go to church. In the opening services he was seized with faintness and after reaching the open air at once became unconscious. He was promptly conveyed to his son's home there he died in about fifteen minutes.

Mr.. Wood was one of the pioneer ministers of Nebraska, and also resided at Tabor some years. He was always a faithful and zealous preacher of the Gospel.
