Died— At Tabor, Iowa, April 26, 1890, of dropsy, Mrs. Ann Mariah Cargill in her 74th year. She was born in Vermont in 1816, married David Cargill in 1852. United with Congregational Church in early life, remaining a faithful member until about four years ago, when she united with the Adventist society, in which faith she died.

Moved to Iowa in 1858. She leaves two sons, one in Oregon and one in Colorado. Buried her husband 12 years ago. She in the last of the Stodard family. Mrs. Cargill was step-mother of Mrs. Joseph Madison.
