Grace Pearl Kirk was born in Buffalo County, Nebraska on December 14, 1884. At five years of age she came to Mills County with her parents and has resided here ever since.

On August 9, 1904 she was united in marriage to Fred A, Glenn who died May 18, 1908. One child Lillie Pearl was born to them.

Mrs. Glenn has been in poor health for 10 years, for the last eight years she has been confined to her bed. She was taken to the Jennie Edmundson Hospital on July 21 and operated on the following morning. After nine days she was brought here to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Stivers, and passed away August 9, on her 31st wedding anniversary, age 50 years 7 months and 25 days. There remains to mourn her loss, her mother Mrs. Martha Kirk, two brothers Harvey and Thomas, her daughter Lillie Stivers, seven nieces and nephews,

Over thirty years ago she united with the Congregational Church. Funeral serves were held in the Walter Stivers home Sunday afternoon.
