SILVER CITY MAN STRICKEN WHILE AT WHEEL OF CAR

August Spetman Died of Heart Attack While Driving Car in Council Bluffs — Wife Succeeds in Stopping Machine

Following the instructions of her husband doubtless saved the life of Mrs. August Spetman of Silver City Friday afternoon.

When her husband was stricken with a fatal attack of heart trouble while they were driving on South avenue near the city limits in Council Bluffs, Mrs. Spetman turned of the ignition and steered the car the side of the road, as he had told her to do in case he became ill. Mr. Spetman died instantly. He was 71. He is survived
also by two sons, Lewis Spetman of Denver and Roy Spetman of Glenwood three daughters, Mrs. Geo. Bada and Mrs, Roy Miller of Silver City, and Mrs Emma Elmo of Council Bluffs; three half brothers and two half-sisters. The body was brought to the Raynor funeral home here in Glenwood Funeral services were held their Monday afternoon in the Methodist church in Silver City and the body was laid to rest in the Mincola cemetery.
