Mary E. Elmore

Mrs. Mary E. Elmore, 80, 2016 S. 6th st., died Thursday at a Plattsmouth, Neb. Rest home after a two year illness.

Born in Silver City, she had resided most of her life in Council Bluffs. She was the widow of Alfred G. Elmore who died in 1964. Survivors include: Three daughters, Mrs. Lois Hanisch and Mrs. Alleen long, both of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Margaret Richter of East St. Louis, Ill.; three sons, Marion of Council Bluffs, Charles of Omaha and Joseph of Vista, Calif. Two sisters, Mrs. Sophia Bada of San Diego Calif, and Mrs. Kate Miller of Mineola: 30 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Meyer Chapel. Warren Hughes, pastor of Southside Christian Church, will officiate. Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
