DATED AUGUST 9, 2000:

Geraldine Kruse, 84, died August 31, 2000 at the Community Memorial Health Center in Harley, Iowa. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Kruse was the daughter of William and Lucy (Speet) Miller, born April 23, 1916 in rural Council Bluffs. She attended counry school. She married Clyde Kruse in 1932. They lived near Glenwood where she was a cook for many years at the Glenwood State School. She liked to sew, quilt and do needle point.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Marlene Jones of Sioux City; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Glenwood Library or the Trinity Lutheran Church of Glenwood. Sheldon Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
