DATED AUGUST 9, 2000:

Richard (Dick) Hunt, 94, of Silver City died August 29, 2000 at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs. Funeral services were September 1, 2000 at Peterson Mortuary with burial in the Silver City Cemetery. Pastor Stephany Sanborn officiated the services.

Mr. Hunt was born the son of Albert and Elizabeth (Robison) Hunt, born December 18, 1905 in Mills County. He was married to Evelyn Mable Williams on February 11, 1925 in Malvern. He was a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife in 1996; three sisters; and daughter-in-law, Catherine Hunt.

Survivors include his sons, Ward Hunt of Malvern and William and wife Patty Hunt of Silver City; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Silver City United Methodist Church or the Silver City Ambulance or Fire Department.
