KILLMON, CASE, HAMMONS, SLAUGHTER

Cobe M. Killmon, so of F. S. and Anna Case Killmon, was born south of Glenwood, Iowa, on a farm on Oct. 19, 1891, and died April 19, 1963 at Council Bluffs.

He was united in marriage to Dayle Hammons and to this union were born two sons, Lace L. Killmon of Omaha, and Thomas D. Killmon of Council Bluffs.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Angie M. Slaughter of Glenwood, and three brohers, Walter of Creston, Merle of Clarinda, and Kenneth of Glenwood.

His parents preceded him in death as did two of his brothers.

Cobe spent most of his working years with the lumber yard in Glenwood, or working with and for Mills county. In recent years he has worked for the cemetery association here in Glenwood.

He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Killmon were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Raynor-Hamilton Funeral chapel with the Rev. C. F. Waterman officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Philip Lenz and Ronald Knutzon.

Serving as flower ladies were Mrs. W. A. Benscoter and Mrs. Ervin Ling. Casket bearers were Ervin Ling, Harry Stivers, Linn Wright, Mervin Foster, Carl Hurst and Homer Eckley. Interment was in the Glenwood cemetery.
