GLENWOOD OPINION-TRIBUNE
DATED APRIL 25, 1963

Funeral services for Gerald LeRoy Budd, 53, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Peterson Mortuary with he Rev. Clyde Mosher officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Dean Dusenberry and Neil McPherron.

Flowers wre cared for by Mrs. Joy Wray, Mrs. Clifford Stille, Mrs. Robert Schroeder and Roberta Schroeder. Casket bearers were Donald Schroder, Dale Allensworth, Robert Schoeder, Joy Wray, Louis Mayberry and Clifford Stille. Interment was in the Glenwood cemetery.

Mr. Budd was born Sept. 30, 1919 at Ravenna, Neb., and died April 20, 1963, at a Council Bluffs hospital following a stroke. His parents were Henry and Clara Budd. He lived in Nebraska in his early life, and on March 9, 1932, was married to Willamine Campbell at Grand Island,Neb.

He came to the Glenwood vicinity in 1940 and was employed by Mills county. He was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving besides his widow are: five sons, Loyd and Henry of Glenwood, Gary of Shenandoah, Willis, serving with the Navy in Japan, and Jim at home; two daughters, Mrs. George Sorenson (Joan) of Audubon, and Betty of the home; mother of Greenville, Calif.; two sisters, Lois Wiley, Greenville, Calif., and Nola Larson, Casper, Wyo.; and 10 grandchildren.
