GLENWOOD OPINION-TRIBUNE
DATED THURS., JANUARY 5, 1933:

William Hunt, son of Lydia and William Hunt, was born in Wapello county, Iowa, Feb. 24, 1859, and departed this life Dec. 29, 1932, at the age of 73 years 10 months and 5 days.

When a child three months old his parents went by covered wagon to Utah and returned to Iowa when he was 10 years old.

As a young man he located near Glenwood, Iowa, where he was united in marriage to Sarah Caress on Sept. 3, 1882. To this union four children were born. One son, William Alvin, died in France during the World War.

Mr. Hunt is survived by his wife, and three children: Charles Daniel, Alice Lura and Ival O., who will greatly miss the kindness of a loving father and husband. He also leaves two brothers, Noah Hunt of Glenwood, and Archie Hunt of Tabor; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Bryan of Aberdeen, S.D., and Sara Huffaker of Winnepeg, Canada; 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hunt united with the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Silver City, Iowa, in the year 1891.

Funeral services were held in Raynors Chapel Saturday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Pierce in charge. The flower girls were four granddaughters. Music was furnished by Mrs. E. E. Barber, Evelyn Barber, John Barber, Roy Henderson, with Mrs. Sandell at the piano.

The pallbearers were Geo. Radford, Wm. Rathke, Bert Pace, Clark Clover, George Edmonds and Jack Wolfe.

Burial was made in the Glenwood cemetery.
